The digital divide

Yes the use of technology is helping me get ahead and aching goals. How private and protected my data is well protected.

We eat social media for breakfast

What did we want to accomplish by sharing information? You see there different types of people that wants to accomplish by sharing information, they post it online so their friends and family could see it. But for some people they don't post at all because instead of posting a picture, they can actual spend time with family/friends in those minutes. For the diction, it's when dr Preston says  Pictures aren’t the same now as when I was a kid, anymore than a song on Pandora is "the same" as "the same song" on a vinyl album. I get that because usually people with actual pictures will get together and actually talk like "hey remember that day"... Now days people just wanna take pictures just to be "tumblr" I mean that's ok but have a memory behind it. You feel me? Idk that's just my opinion. For the syntax what dr Preston said We no longer tell the stories of our pictures.  Our pictures tell the stories of us.  dr Pres That's so true because online like Facebook, Instagram etc.. we can post pictures with one click. On Instagram you can edit, tag, put caption, for your Instagram page with all of your photos you posted, it kind basically tells a story behind them. Like what Dr Preston said, others who view our lives online come to "know" our identities through our photo streams". For me, I like to post what I do and like and people that i actually know that follows me gets to see my adventures through school, life, family and friends and that's why I like how social gets to do that, so people could see. And for dr Preston I like how he sends his daughter the picture of her from pancake day and one day she'll remember the memories from her day. So yeah by accomplishing by sharing information meaning behind is to remember those moments with loved ones.

Ignite talk

* My big question is why do people still judge in today's society?
* I looked it up and see what would others say about it. And through social  media like Instagram , there's judgemental people .
* I asked people why are they judging.

* One connection you see between my topic of this course or something we read Is that in the Great Gatsby Daisy's parents wanted her to a rich guy which is Tom. Which basically she couldn't be with Gatsby.
* What I'm doing next is, get people to stop judging because even though we do it all the time it's not right

Information i've read pt.5

A 2009 study examined the accuracy of observers’ determination about 10 personality traits of people based on nothing but full-body photographs. When targets’ posture and expression were constrained - the standardized condition, where the photograph was posed to the researchers' specifications - observers’ judgments were accurate for extroversion, self-esteem, and even religiosity.

information i've read pt.4

This is the biggest reason why do lots of people judge others by their outer appearance.
Had the media been more balanced in the choice of roles for people in movies this stereotype might have not been developed.

Information i've read pt.3

The crime the media has done is that they portrayed good looking people as heroes, kind ones and doers of good while on the other hand they gave the evil roles to people who are not that handsome.

Information i've read pt.2

Why do people judge others based on appearance?

The answer is simple, just a people were told few times not judge by a book by its cover they were told numerous times directly to judge others based on their outer appearance.

Information i've read pt.1

"Judging and categorizing the people around you is the most efficient way to reinforce the assumptions on which you base your core view of reality. We use other people as mirrors on which to base our essential view of the world and ourselves."

Fahrenheit 451 Essay

There's different kinds of tones of Ray Bradbury's with regard to Clarisse and Beatty. In this story, there's different kinds of moods of each person. For me i think that this story has not werid but odd feelings. Like when Mildred and Montag wouldn't be a "couple". Anyways Clarisse and Beatty do have different kinds of tones.

For Clarisse, she usually not those type of average teenagers that watches television. She's asks questions to Montag that he never hears about or heard. Clarisee is filled with ideas and questions. Interested in odd things that draws attention to Montag. She actually knows and asks questions to Montag rather than his own wife Mildred. About that, since mildred just watches tv, i think that Clarisee and her family doesn't watch tv, since she's has these questions. And think that Clarisee changed Montag later on in the story.

About Beatty, he has thoughts and sadness which he is mean and have a grudge. Beatty calls books two-faced weapons, yet he uses his own book learning to manipulate Montag. But Beatty knows more about Books than anyone. He used to be curious about books, just like Montag. Also he's full of contradiction. He overestimates his control of a desperate man.  I think that Beatty is just different from anyone else.

That is all the different kinds of tones of Ray Bradbury's with regard to Clarisse and Beaty. All have different kinds of moods, tones different kinds of perspective. I like how all of them are so different have a little story that's describes them and who they are. In this book i also like how Ray Bradbury teaches how to just think and question about the book you know? Instead of just reading, (i mean we did), but actually look more into to it.

F451 guiding questions ch 1

F1. Ray Bradbury starts the novel by biting his book rather than reading it was against the law.
2. The books are compared to the bird because when the burning books are like flapping.
3. Montag is not happy & clarrise questions about Montag.
4. I think it's kinda similar because as an example with the seas shells, we use our headphones to not hear anybody.
5. Because he wants us to see that he has change before all of that changes.
6. So that we can know more about clarrise since Mildred just watches tv.
7. All the burning houses was just the books that stayed in house.
8. The service is provided for Mildred was two machines, one of them slid down into your stomach like a black cobra down an echoing well looking for all the green matter that flowed to the top in a slow boil.
9. The machine pumped all of the blood from the body and replaced it with fresh blood and serum.
10. I think because she asks questions that people don't really ask.
11.
12. The relationships between Montag & Mildred is werid because they're not like a "couple" like she just literally watches tv .
